The host of the newest CHALLENGE FAMILY event – HONG KONG!!!

HONG KONG, one of the busiest and most energetic cities in the world has announced as the newest host city of a CHALLENGEFAMILY triathlon today.

CHALLENGEHONGKONG will take place on 25th November, 2018 (Sunday) and will comprise an Olympic Distance Triathlon (1.5km Swim, 40km Bike and 10km Run) a Sprint Distance Triathlon (750m Swim, 20km Bike and 5km Run), a CHALLENGEWOMEN 8km Experience Fun Run (Exclusive for women) and a CHALLENGEJUNIOR Aquathlon (250m Swim and 2.5km Run).

With CHALLENGEHONGKONG we hope to showcase this incredible destination to the World’s triathletes and create an iconic event in the Greater China.”

The swim leg for CHALLENGEHONGKONG is located at the Tai Mei Tuk Water Sports Centre in Tolo Harbour. The challenging four-lap bike course overlooks the historical reservoir after an initial 400m climb out of transition, while the pancake-flat run course at Plover Cove Reservoir Dam will provide participants with the unique experience of having a view of Tolo Harbour on the right and Plover Cove Reservoir on the left.

The schedule of CHALLENGEHONGKONG 2018 includes EXPO and Athlete Registration on Friday 23rd November (Friday) and 24th November (Saturday) with race day for all events on 25th November (Sunday).

The olympic and sprint distance triathlon offer racing for individual age group athletes and relay teams.

Registrations for CHALLENGEHONGKONG will be opened on 1st July, 2018.
